Buffalo’s Cafe Opening in Acworth Georgia

I’m noticing some great press this week regarding our most recent Buffalo’s Cafe opening. The Marietta Daily Journal has a piece, as does Fast Casual, the Kennesaw Patch, and others. Opening in the Acworth-Kennesaw area on Cobb Parkway, this location at 3161 Cobb Parkway NW is our 14th location in Georgia.

Here’s a quote from yours truly:

We are excited to continue expanding the brand in the Georgia market. As Buffalo’s Cafe continues to grow, we look forward to introducing our all-American wing experience to new customers and providing them with a family-like atmosphere.”
-  Andy Wiederhorn, CEO of Buffalo’s Cafe

The 3,800-square-foot restaurant has seating capacity for 150 people. Franchise owners are Paul Dalrymple and Rick Duel with Lonnie Holder as general manager. If you’re in the area, please stop on by!

Franchising.com Discusses our Newest Co-Branded Drive-Through

While the Fatburger – Buffalo’s Cafe co-brand is not necessarily a new thing for us, opening more drive-through locations definitely is.

Franchise.com picked up on this recently, reporting on our Crenshaw Boulevard location in Los Angeles.

Fatburger (www.fatburger.com), Hollywood’s favorite burger, has announced the opening of their newest drive-thru location with its sister brand, Buffalo’s Express, on Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles. The drive-thru offers Angelenos the option to quickly order Fatburger’s juicy hamburgers and Buffalo’s tasty chicken wings on the go.

“Opening drive-thru locations that are co-branded with Buffalo’s is a natural progression for our brand,” said CEO of Fatburger and Buffalo’s Cafe| Express, Andy Wiederhorn. “In addition to our new Crenshaw restaurant, we anticipate opening more drive-thru locations in the next few months as well as additional “FatBuffs.” We are always looking for ways to provide our guests with our delicious food in a convenient way and anticipate a great response to this new location.”

We’re excited to bring a new level of convenience to our customers with our new drive-through locations. As our brand evolves, we seek to bring more drive-through locations to market. Stay tuned — we may even open one near you!

Karachi Pakistan Fatburger Opening Mentioned

Fatburger PakistanFatburger received a nice mention in “You! The New Woman Magazine” recently. Our newest location in Karachi Pakistan did not go unnoticed by the press. Author Samina Shaheen discusses the scene in Karachi:

“Every year some good eating out places and stores open up in Pakistan. However, 2013 was not about the typical restaurants, cafes and crowded stores. 2013 was about bringing something new to Karachiites including cafes with interesting themes, cinemas with new technologies, the fast food we dreamt of and stores where we can shop till we drop.”

“Karachi has been lucky in 2013. This is because some of the biggest fast food chains of the world came to Karachi this year. It all started with ‘Fat Burger’ opening up in Dolmen mall, Clifton. There were queues outside their outlet for weeks…”

Abu-Dhabi World Trade Center

Aerial concept view of Abu Dhabi World Trade Center build-out.

We’re busy opening new locations around the globe, but I wanted to pause for a moment and highlight our Abu Dhabi location.

Trade Arabia has a great run-down of new eateries coming online in the new Abu Dhabi-based World Trade Center Mall (WTC Mall) developed by Aldar Properties. Some highlights from the article follow, but as usual, please click through for the full story.

According to Talal Al Dhiyebi, the executive director of Asset Management at Aldar:

“The new additions at WTC Mall serve to meet the growing demand for casual dining options in the capital and enrich the overall shopping experience. Over a short period, WTC Mall has become the destination of choice for Abu Dhabi families looking for a variety of dining choices under one roof … Burger lovers are now welcome to relish the signature big and juicy burgers of Fatburger, the famous Californian Dining franchise which brings a spectrum of burger and other choices of sandwiches, and home-made appetizers.”

The Detroit Free Press has a blurb about our new Fatburger in Detroit. (It’s an article about Piada Italian Street Food, but if you scroll down to the bottom, you’ll see us there.) I’ll post the quote below, for ease of reading:
