I found this great post over at Hospitality Technology Magazine which talks about how Fatburger is beta testing new Red Book Connect’s mobile tech in our restaurants. Red Book’s new app operates on a ruggedized iPad that can withstand the sometimes harsh conditions of a restaurant, while allowing employees at all levels to better communicate, set goals, and track everyday tasks.
Truly some amazing technology, but I’ll let James Newell, the Vice President of Operations here at Fatburger, describe how we use it. From the article:
The ability to have a truly customized manager’s log, as well as centralized, online access, is exciting,” said Newell. “They can take notes, see tasks, pull up a contact, take a photo, and contact their staff – all from their phone or tablet. It gives them the freedom to interact with guests and team members and still be on top of everything.”
